Milfred Hammerbacher
Co-Founder & CEO
Milfred’s passion for the environment has guided him throughout his education and 30+ year career. Solar energy through photovoltaic technology has been one of the paths he chose to have an impact on the environment.
For the last 12 years Milfred has been the founder and CEO of s2e Technologies Inc. where he has expanded beyond solar to the development of sustainable communities and renewable energy solutions.
In addition to s2e, he was the President of Canadian Solar Solutions between 2009-2012, where his team developed a new business model for Canadian Solar, integrating solar panel manufacturing with project development and construction.
Carlos Fernández
Co-Founder & President
Leveraging 20 years of photovoltaic solar experience and an extensive background in senior management, finance, operations, administration, sales and marketing, Carlos is responsible for driving results for s2e’s stakeholders and surrounding communities, as well as the development and execution of projects outside of Canada.
Carlos has extensive experience in Mexico, England and Canada within different industry segments and with multiple organizations. Carlos also completed a three-year assignment as Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Canadian Solar Solutions.
Stephen Pepper
CFO
With more than 28 years of experience in corporate and structured finance, international credit, collection management and regulatory compliance, Steve provides s2e with financial and related support services for daily operations as well as for the Company’s expanding portfolio of domestic and international projects.
Steve brings a variety of complementary international financial and operational experiences having previously worked as the Chief Risk Officer/Head of Risk of China Construction Bank (Canada), Vice President Structured Finance at Fifth Third Bank, and Head of Special Accounts at State Bank of India (Canada).
