William Semeluk

Co-CEO of s2e Data Centre Development Division

William is a technology visionary and seasoned entrepreneur with five decades of experience shaping enterprise IT infrastructure. From early access to IBM 370 mainframes and DEC PDP-11 microcomputers in 1970 to establishing an AI development lab in 2021, he has consistently anticipated and adopted technological evolution.

As an entrepreneur, William founded, built, operated, and exited four successful technology companies spanning Telex, radio paging, telephone interconnect, and enterprise data centres. His deep telecom expertise fostered unique collaborations with carriers, pioneering early interconnect businesses, structured cabling, dial-up services, and video conferencing in the 90s.

For over 30 years, leading Canadian enterprises have entrusted their core infrastructure to William’s companies. He was first to host Nortel CS1000 for enterprise VoIP and owned a state-of-the-art data centre, recognizing the cloud’s potential early. William leverages his unparalleled experience to build world-class facilities that empower enterprises for the data-driven future.

Matt Lugar

Co-CEO of s2e Data Centre Development​ Division

With 30 years of clean energy experience, Matt specializes in market adoption, fundraising, and financing for sustainable infrastructure. His career at the intersection of clean energy innovation and capital markets has advanced the deployment of solar, battery energy storage, and other transformative sustainable technologies.

Matt has held senior leadership roles at Generate Capital, Beamreach Solar, QBotix, Stellar Energy, Tioga Energy, Sharp, and Siemens Solar. He has been instrumental in securing equity and project-level funding, refining financial products to catalyze market adoption, and implementing capital strategies that align investor needs with infrastructure growth objectives.

With deep understanding of both developer and investor perspectives, Matt excels at aligning technical, operational, and commercial teams to bring bankable, finance-ready solutions to market. Matt holds an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in Natural Resources from the University of the South.

Chris Vanderlubbe

CTO of s2e Data Centre Development​ Division

Chris is a technology leader with deep expertise in software engineering and platform architecture, particularly in regulated industries and AI-driven systems. He has a proven track record developing enterprise-grade platforms with compliance built-in, enabling institutions to move fast without breaking things.

With over a decade of leadership experience in designing and delivering carrier-grade technology systems, Chris brings strong hands-on expertise with distributed systems, secure data pipelines, and private AI integrations. His background as a lead systems and software engineer includes spearheading complex enterprise and commercial buildouts, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance at every layer.

Chris is passionate about pushing the boundaries of compliant AI systems, data governance in large enterprises, and enabling smarter business workflows through technical innovation. He excels at building engineering teams that thrive in high-performance, multi-site environments.

Steve Vaccaro

Senior Advisor of Business Development, s2e Technologies

Steven Vaccaro has over 35 years of experience as a Renewable Energy Executive, with operating companies delivering several hundred MW of renewable projects over the years. In the late 1980’s/1990’s he founded several successful Utility Management companies in the ESCO (Energy Service Company) businesses for large scale commercial and multi-residential energy conservation. In 1999 the OZZ Corporation group of companies was founded, and Steven was a Founding Managing Director, growing the business from 3 employees to over 600 in five years.

Spin offs include today’s public and Trilliant Networks a Smart Metering Company. In 2004 Steven entered the solar business with a Canadian public company that raised over $60 million and built a solar manufacturing facility near Dresden, Germany. In 2009 he was the co-founder and Chairman of OZZ Solar implementing solar and clean energy projects for over 4 years, including the development of over 80MW of solar in Canada and eventually sold to Morgan Stanley.

Since then, he has consulted for over a dozen companies on the leading edge of Renewable Energy development throughout the world.
